(Sophomore Album 2019)

”The metal world needs a band like Fractal Universe to press the reset button on the paradigms of both technical death metal and hard rock.”

Vince Neilstein, Metal Sucks

"Rhizomes of Insanity” (…) shows a level of talent few
can match.

Austin Weber, Metal Injection

“Fractal Universe are a band essential to any extreme metal fan who loves the progressive and the weird, with Rhizomes Of sanity being another fine addition to their brand of enigmatic sonic mastery.  Fantastic record.”

No Clean Singing

“Rhizomes of Insanity manages to increase the scale but wrap it all together with tight songwriting and some more unique vibes in the progressive death metal landscape.“

Core and Co

(Debut Album 2017)

"Jazzy guitar work, propellant-yet-textured drumming and extreme vocals weave together (...) Their melding of tempos and keen feel for the execution leaves little time on the record that feels like it is surplus to requirement.."

Powerplay N°196 (9/10)

"Engram of Decline is first and foremost, an incredibly technical record, but it's prog-death adventurousness and deliciously groovy nature is what makes it one I'll keep coming back to."

Austin Weber, Metal Injection

"Fans of Fallujah and Obscura may well find themselves a new favourite band here"

Terrorizer N°281 (7/10)

"Fractal Universe’s music can be described as a mix of Gorod, Beyond Creation, proggy elements, and a good dose of groove, an ingredient that is quite rare in Tech-Death."

Rock Tribune N°166 (8/10)

"The melodic moments help give the music an accessible flair that will make you come back to the album again and again."

Disagreement (9/10)

"Fractal Universe are truly wizards in terms of technique, harmony, music and composition. What we have with "Engram of Decline" is pure magic."

Santi Gzlez, Necromance (9,5/10)

"A remarkable listening experience."

Rewiews to my Blood (9,5/10)

"Sons Of Ignorance and Scar Legacy Of Hatred are both packed to the brim with beautifully crafted insanity and just as you feel your head is about to spin off."

Distorted Sound (8/10)

"The clear mix on ‘Engram Of Decline’ serves the songs in an excellent matter. All angles, both vocally and musically, are composed very good."

Mathieu Mussler, Bee Metal Magazine

Video Review by ExtraShuggah.

Metalship (10/10)

(First EP 2015)

"This EP is a combination of Obscura, Meshuggah, Opeth, Cynic and Beyond Creation.....100% Masterpiece!"

BDP Metal

“Boundaries Of Reality is a very diverse and interesting take on progressive death metal. It’s fairly groovy, frequently atmospheric, yet always massively heavy and loaded with killer riffs and leads.”

Austin Weber, No Clean Singing

"This is a great debut from a band that's already showing plenty of promise."

Danny Sanderson, Metal Temple

"Fractal Universe keep their songs tight in the vein of tech-death but with a definite progressive vibe that lets your mind travel out into space headbanging in the void."

Cyril Glaume, Hard Rock Mag N°52
